It also includes a 3-Latch door system to ensure it can resist the water pressure. Most other outward swing door walk in bathtubs have a door with only one latch. It can put a lot of stress on just the one latch to keep it closed especially on bigger tubs. Adding two more latches makes for a much more secure door. Top all of that off with a leak-proof silicone seal that becomes pressurized when the locking arm is set into place and you’ve got a sustainable leak proof door.
